No trip to Hoi An is completed without joining Hoi An ancient town walking tour there in order to experience a peaceful atmosphere, unique old-town architecture, traditional colored lantern and silk stalls, etc…

Itinerary:
Exploring Hoi An on foot is one of the best ways to take in the city’s charm. While exploring the small yet beautiful town, tourists and frequent visitors alike find that it is a place of quiet and peace. The unique atmosphere here combines elements of Vietnamese, Chinese and Japanese culture. Some of the most remarkable views of the city are from the ancient houses. From here, visitors can catch a glimpse of a long gone past and more subdued and simple time. The tour includes visits to Hoi An Museum, many of the town’s renowned Ancient Houses which boast remarkable architecture, Assembly Halls of Chinese influence, Art Craft Manufacturing Workshop, and of course the must-see Japanese Covered Bridge. An optional stop is at the private home of Diep Dong Nguyen (subject to availability) to view a stunning collection of pottery, seals and old Hoi An photographs.

My favorite

"Hoi An ancient town is my favorite part of Vietnam. I always make a point to spend time here every Vietnam visit. As a non Asian people we always feel safe and welcome. The food here is in my opinion the best in Vietnam for my western tastes. Our favorite restaurant is Secret Garden."

It was my 2nd. time in Hoi An and will do it again!!

"This town is beautiful, so much to see, walk around, meet local people at the shops (most of them really nice) local and cheap food to try but nice and trendy restaurants too. If you go to the market, will find fruits, vegetables, smoothies, prepared food and all sorts of things like souvenirs, shoes, T-shirts, etc. But at night it's full of lanterns with bright colors and tons of people having fun (where did they come from? oh! the beach during the day)"

True Gem

"From the food vendors to the stalls to restaurants...everything is just so beautiful... a must see when in Hoi An... can be a bit pricey...but every cent well spend."
